Erica was born and raised in Los Angeles County, California. She received her B.S. in Biology from the University of Utah and earned her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at Texas Woman’s University.

Her favorite technique to use in the lab are flow cytometry and microscopy, but western blotting is her first love. She is looking forward to having picnics in Central Park in the spring, and trying the different cuisines available in NYC!
